Part 1: The 100 Year Starship

On the brink of earth becoming uninhabitable, the scientific and technological communities merge to create three massive starships to transport 3000 unborn children to a distant planet in a far off Goldilocks system. The unborn are under the care of three artificially intelligent android women and one male designated to teach empathy, compassion and sacrifice – the essentials for the formaton of community.

Part 2: The Encountering

A successful landing and establishment of community enables the birthing of part of the unborn Homo Sapien Genisis (HSG) children and the foundation of a new agriculture. The Andromeda Community discovers that they are not alone on the planet and meet their neighbors. They subsequently discover that their survival – and that of their neighbors – requires mutual cooperation and a shared faith.

Part 3: Exodus and Arrival

Forced to leave one planet for another in the solar system of Demeter – a planet more hostile and dangerous – the joined communities utilize technologies fused from their respective and collective intelligence to survive on another world – together. they survive and prevail, only to discover that they will be joined by additional star travelers and, in addition, decide to return a rescue mission to old earth.

About the Author

Joseph A. Koncelik is the author of 12 books, including fiction, social commentary and research from his days as a university professor. He is also an illustrator of his books and paints family portraits and other ‘allegorical’ pictures between writing stories. One of his allegorical paintings is included on the page, The Character of Motsoetsana. His writings can be found on all platforms and methods of distribution including e-books.
